Position: Software Engineer II
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Security Clearance Required: Secret
Security Clearance Status: Eligible or Active
Travel: Up to 10%
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Full lifecycle application development
- Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages
- Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
- Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)
- Software modeling and simulation
- Front end graphical user interface design
- Software testing and quality assurance
- Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
- Support, maintain and document software functionality
- Integrate software with existing systems
- Maintain standards compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience with C, C++, C#, Java, .NET, VBA, VB.Net, ASP, ASP.Net, Python, Perl, within Visual Studio
- 1+ years of experience working in the computer forensics field
- Experience working with source control systems
- Experience working with Geo-Referenced Metadata
